Carlos Baena ：在開始製作玩具總動員三之前，有些時間做一些關於巴斯光年這個角色的測試。在這之前，我沒表演過這個角色，這也讓我可以從過去許多優秀動畫師為這個角色所做的作品中學到很多。這個版本的測試有著不少問題，不過也還好及早犯錯（也能及早修正）。此外，導演 Lee Unkrich 非常開放，也很鼓勵我去嘗試一些不同的東西，只要是能讓這個角色發揮更多更具娛樂效果的可能性。我戒慎恐懼地執行這份任務，特別還是要表演一個自己很愛的作品裡的角色（同時還是前兩集的粉絲）。所以我花了很多時間在家做研究，思考著如何能把這個作品做好！
